HELLHORSE PERFORMANCE, LLC — RETURN AND REFUND POLICY Last Updated: April 29, 2026

This Return and Refund Policy describes when, how, and under what conditions you may return a product purchased from Hellhorse Performance, LLC ("Hellhorse," "we," "us," or "our") through hellhorseperformance.com. This Policy is part of our Terms of Sale and should be read together with our Shipping Policy. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.

  1. SUMMARY

Hellhorse offers three return paths, each with its own terms:

  • Buyer's Remorse Returns: 30-day window, 40% restocking fee, store credit only, customer pays return shipping.
  • Defective or Wrong Item Returns: 30-day window from delivery, no restocking fee, refund to original payment method or replacement, Hellhorse-paid return shipping label.
  • Final Sale Items: Made-to-order, built-to-order, supplier-fulfilled, installed, and tuning products are not eligible for return, refund, exchange, or cancellation once production or fulfillment has been initiated.

The full terms for each path are below. Customers must request a Return Merchandise Authorization ("RMA") before shipping any product back to Hellhorse. Returns received without an RMA may be refused or delayed.

  1. BUYER'S REMORSE RETURNS

This path applies when you no longer want the product, changed your mind, ordered the wrong part for your vehicle, or otherwise wish to return an eligible item that is not defective and was not shipped in error.

Eligibility:

  • Item must be a standard, in-stock product (see Section 4 for items excluded from all returns).
  • Item must be unopened, uninstalled, and in original, resalable condition with all original packaging, hardware, instructions, and accessories.
  • RMA request must be submitted within 30 days of the date the item is delivered, as confirmed by carrier tracking.
  • Item must be received by Hellhorse within 14 days of RMA issuance.

Terms:

  • A 40% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Return shipping is the customer's responsibility, including shipping cost, insurance, and the risk of loss in transit. We strongly recommend a trackable, insured shipping method.
  • If the original order qualified for a free shipping promotion, an additional $10 fee will be deducted from the refund to cover the original outbound shipping cost.
  • Refund Type: Store credit only. Buyer's remorse returns are refunded as Hellhorse store credit issued to the customer's account or via a single-use store credit code. Store credit does not expire and is fully transferable to future orders. Buyer's remorse returns are not eligible for refund to the original payment method.

Inspection:

  • All returns are inspected upon receipt to confirm uninstalled and resalable condition.
  • Items showing signs of installation, wear, modification, or missing components are not eligible for credit and may be returned to the customer at the customer's expense, or held for disposal after 30 days.
  1. DEFECTIVE OR WRONG ITEM RETURNS

This path applies when the product you received is defective out of the box, was damaged in transit, or is not the item you ordered (Hellhorse error or supplier shipping error).

Eligibility:

  • Defects, damage, or shipping errors must be reported to support@hellhorseperformance.com within the inspection window described in our Shipping Policy (48 hours of delivery for visible damage and discrepancies; defects discovered later must be reported within 30 days of delivery).
  • Customer must provide reasonable supporting information, including order number, photos of the product and packaging, and a description of the issue.
  • Item must not have been installed, modified, or damaged by the customer.

Terms:

  • No restocking fee.
  • Hellhorse will provide a prepaid return shipping label.
  • At the customer's choice, Hellhorse will issue a refund to the original payment method or ship a replacement of the same item, subject to availability.
  • If a replacement is unavailable within a reasonable time, Hellhorse will refund to the original payment method.
  • Resolution timeline: Refunds are processed within 10 business days of receipt and inspection of the returned item. Replacements are dispatched per the standard processing times in our Shipping Policy.

Manufacturer Defects After 30 Days:

  • Defects discovered more than 30 days after delivery may be subject to the original manufacturer's warranty, where one applies. Hellhorse does not extend, modify, or guarantee manufacturer warranties. We will assist in connecting you with the manufacturer for warranty service when reasonably possible.
  1. FINAL SALE — NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN OR REFUND

The following items are FINAL SALE and are not eligible for return, refund, exchange, or cancellation once production or supplier fulfillment has been initiated:

  • Made-to-order, built-to-order, and supplier-fulfilled products, including but not limited to custom exhaust systems, supercharger and turbo kits, forced induction kits, forged and billet components, and carbon fiber parts.
  • Installed parts of any kind. Once a part has been installed on a vehicle, it is no longer eligible for return regardless of fitment, function, or customer satisfaction.
  • Wheels with mounted tires. Customers must inspect wheels for finish, fitment, and damage prior to mounting tires.
  • Tuning products and services, including Palm Beach Dyno tunes, ECU calibrations, and any custom tuning files.
  • Electronic items that have been programmed, paired, or activated.
  • Products marked "Final Sale," "Clearance," or "All Sales Final" on the product page or at checkout.
  • Gift cards and store credit.

By ordering any of the above, you acknowledge and accept that the order is final. Lead time delays falling within the 2-to-20-week window described in our Shipping Policy are not grounds for cancellation, return, or refund.

  1. CANCELLATIONS
  • Standard (in-stock) orders may be canceled prior to shipment, subject to a 10% credit card processing fee.
  • Made-to-order, built-to-order, and supplier-fulfilled orders may be canceled only before production or supplier fulfillment has been initiated, subject to a 15% cancellation fee. Once production or fulfillment has begun, the order is final.
  • To request a cancellation, email support@hellhorseperformance.com with your order number as soon as possible. Cancellations are not effective until confirmed by Hellhorse in writing.
  1. HOW TO START A RETURN

To initiate a return:

  1. Email support@hellhorseperformance.com or use the contact form at hellhorseperformance.com/pages/contact.
  2. Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for return. For defective or wrong-item claims, include photos.
  3. We will respond with an RMA number and return instructions, including the ship-to address and (for defective/wrong-item claims) a prepaid return label.
  4. Pack the item securely in its original packaging. Write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the box.
  5. Ship the item back within 14 days of RMA issuance. Returns received without an RMA, or received after the 14-day window, may be refused.

Do not ship returns to the address on the original shipping label without first obtaining an RMA. Items returned to that address without authorization may be refused or delayed.

  1. REFUND PROCESSING
  • Approved refunds and store credits are issued within 10 business days of receipt and inspection of the returned item.
  • Refunds to the original payment method may take an additional 3 to 10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer.
  • Store credit is issued immediately upon approval and is available for use on the next order.
  • Hellhorse is not responsible for delays caused by your bank, card issuer, or payment processor.
  1. CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES

You agree to follow the return process described in this Policy before initiating any chargeback, payment dispute, or third-party complaint with your card issuer, bank, or payment processor. Initiating a chargeback in lieu of following this process — particularly for items eligible for return, for orders falling within a stated lead time, or for any final-sale item — constitutes a material breach of our Terms of Sale and may result in collection action and recovery of associated costs and fees.

If you have a problem with an order, contact us first. We resolve the overwhelming majority of issues quickly when given the opportunity.

  1. EXCEPTIONS AND CHANGES

Hellhorse reserves the right to consider exceptions to this Policy on a case-by-case basis, in our sole discretion. Any exception granted in one instance does not constitute a waiver of this Policy in any other instance.

We reserve the right to update this Return and Refund Policy at any time. The current version is available at hellhorseperformance.com. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that order.
