Hellhorse Performance, LLC, a Texas S-Corporation ("Hellhorse," "we," "us," or "our"), located at hellhorseperformance.com, is committed to delivering your orders reliably. This Shipping Policy outlines our procedures, timelines, and terms for shipping products purchased through our website. By placing an order, you agree to the terms of this policy, which forms part of our broader Terms of Sale.

  1. ORDER PROCESSING
  • In-Stock Orders: Typically processed within 3–5 business days from the date of order confirmation, excluding weekends and U.S. federal holidays.
  • Product-Specific Lead Times: Certain items have unique lead times clearly indicated on their respective product pages. These lead times supersede the standard processing timeline and reflect the time required for manufacturing, assembly, or sourcing.
  • Order Confirmation: Processing begins after payment clears and any required verification (address, fitment, vehicle information) is complete.
  1. MADE-TO-ORDER AND SUPPLIER-FULFILLED ORDERS

A significant portion of our catalog consists of made-to-order, built-to-spec, or supplier-fulfilled products — including but not limited to custom exhaust systems, supercharger and turbo kits, forged and billet components, carbon fiber parts, tuning products, and any item not held in our direct inventory.

  • Lead Time Window: Made-to-order and supplier-fulfilled orders may take anywhere from 2 to 20 weeks to ship, depending on the product, the manufacturer or supplier, current production queues, and component availability.
  • Estimates Only: All lead times — whether listed on a product page, communicated by email, or quoted by our team — are estimates based on supplier-provided information. They are not guarantees, and actual production and shipping times may vary.
  • No Cancellation for Delays Within Stated Window: Once a made-to-order or supplier-fulfilled order has been placed and production has been initiated with the supplier, the order cannot be canceled or refunded due to delays falling within the stated 2-to-20-week window. By placing an order for these items, you acknowledge and accept this lead time range.
  • Communication: We will provide updates as supplier information becomes available. If a supplier indicates a delay materially beyond the stated window, we will contact you to discuss options.
  • Partial Shipments: Orders containing both in-stock and made-to-order items may ship in multiple shipments at no additional cost to you, unless otherwise specified.
  1. BACKORDERED ITEMS

If an item is on backorder, shipping times depend on supplier availability. Estimated shipping windows will be communicated at the time of purchase or as soon as delays are identified. We will notify you via email if significant delays occur. You may cancel a backordered item before it ships and before production has been initiated, subject to our cancellation policy (see Terms of Sale).

  1. SHIPPING DESTINATIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
  • Domestic Shipping: We ship to addresses within the 50 United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, and to U.S. territories, subject to carrier availability.
  • CARB Restrictions: Non-CARB-exempt products will not be shipped to addresses in CARB-regulated states to ensure compliance with emissions regulations. Refer to our CARB Compliance Policy for details.
  • International Shipping: We do not currently offer international shipping. Orders must have a valid U.S. shipping address.
  • Address Accuracy: You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Hellhorse is not liable for delays, losses, or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information.
  1. FREE SHIPPING
  • Eligibility: Free shipping, where offered, applies only to standard shipping within the 48 contiguous U.S. states and excludes Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, and oversized or specialty items (e.g., engines, differentials, full exhaust systems) or items with special shipping charges.
  • Exclusions: Product pages will indicate if an item incurs additional shipping fees due to size, weight, or special handling requirements.
  • Returns: If a free shipping promotion was applied to an order that is later returned, an additional $10 restocking fee will apply, as outlined in our Terms of Sale.
  1. SHIPPING CARRIERS AND DELIVERY
  • Carriers: We partner with reputable carriers (e.g., UPS, FedEx, USPS, freight) to deliver your order. The carrier is selected based on item size, weight, destination, and cost efficiency.
  • Tracking: Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email.
  • Delivery Times: Estimated delivery times depend on the carrier, destination, and shipping method selected at checkout. These are estimates only and not guaranteed.
  • Inspection: You must inspect all shipments upon receipt and report any damage, defects, or discrepancies to us within 48 hours of delivery by contacting business@hellhorseperformance.com. Retain all original packaging materials for potential carrier claims.
  1. DELAYS AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
  • External Factors: Hellhorse is not liable for delays caused by carriers, supply chain disruptions, inclement weather, natural disasters, labor disputes, or other force majeure events beyond our reasonable control.
  • Supplier Delays: For made-to-order, supplier-fulfilled, or backordered items, delays may occur due to manufacturer or supplier constraints. We will communicate updates as we receive them but are not liable for such delays.
  • Chargebacks and Disputes: Customers agree not to initiate chargebacks, payment disputes, or third-party complaints based on shipping delays that fall within the lead time windows stated in this policy or on the applicable product page. Doing so constitutes a breach of this Shipping Policy and our Terms of Sale.
  • Lost or Damaged Shipments: If a shipment is lost or damaged in transit, we will work with the carrier to resolve the issue, which may include filing a claim or arranging a replacement. You must notify us within 48 hours of the expected delivery date to initiate a claim.
  • Maximum Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hellhorse's liability for shipping-related issues shall not exceed the purchase price of the affected order.
  1. SHIPPING CHARGES AND TAXES
  • Shipping Costs: Unless free shipping applies, costs are calculated at checkout based on item weight, dimensions, destination, and selected shipping method.
  • Taxes: Applicable sales taxes are calculated based on the shipping address and local tax regulations. You are responsible for all taxes and duties associated with your order.
  • Special Charges: Oversized, heavy, or freight-required items may incur additional fees, which will be disclosed on the product page or at checkout.
