Hellhorse Performance PPF Screen Protector – 2021+ Ford F-Series (12” Display)
Safeguard your 12” Ford touchscreen with the same technology trusted to protect paint on high-end vehicles. This Hellhorse Performance screen protector is precision-cut from high-quality Paint Protection Film (PPF) to deliver durable, nearly invisible protection without affecting touch response or screen clarity.
Unlike bulky tempered glass options, our PPF protector is thin, flexible, and self-healing—perfect for resisting scratches, swirl marks, and fingerprints while maintaining that OEM+ look. Whether you’re detailing the truck or just driving it daily, this screen protector keeps your infotainment screen looking factory-fresh.
Key Features:
• 🛡 Automotive-Grade PPF – Flexible, self-healing film designed for long-term durability
• ✨ Crystal-Clear Finish – Maintains true screen brightness and touchscreen responsiveness
• 🧽 Self-Healing Surface – Minor scratches and swirl marks disappear with time or light heat
• 📐 Edge-to-Edge Fit – Laser-cut for seamless coverage on the 12” SYNC display
• 🚫 Smudge-Resistant – Reduces fingerprints and is easy to clean
Vehicle Compatibility:
• 2021+ Ford F-150
• 2022+ Ford Super Duty (12” SYNC display)
• Also compatible with select Ford models using the same 12” infotainment layout
Installation Instructions (Wet Install – Recommended):
Included Tools:
✔ Screen protector (PPF)
✔ Spray bottle with slip solution (water + a few drops of baby shampoo or soap)
✔ Squeegee
✔ Microfiber cloth
Step-by-Step:
1. Power Off & Clean Screen
Turn off your truck. Use a microfiber cloth to clean the display thoroughly—no dust, fingerprints, or smudges should remain.
2. Prep Slip Solution
Mix water with a small amount of baby shampoo (just a drop or two). Fill a spray bottle.
3. Wet Your Hands
Spray your hands with the slip solution to avoid fingerprints on the adhesive side.
4. Peel the Liner & Spray Adhesive Side
Carefully peel off the protective liner from the film. Spray the adhesive side generously with slip solution.
5. Apply Film to Screen
Align the film with the edges of your display. The slip solution gives you time to adjust the position perfectly.
6. Squeegee Out Liquid
Starting from the center, use the squeegee to push out water and air bubbles toward the edges. Use consistent, firm strokes.
7. Dry & Final Touch
Use a microfiber cloth to absorb any excess water. Allow up to 24 hours for any remaining moisture or haze to fully disappear.
Pro Tips:
• Install in a clean, indoor space to avoid dust.
• If bubbles persist, let the vehicle sit in a warm environment—the self-healing properties will activate over time.
